As a result of continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a resource person for the role of Cyber Security Lead to join the Cyber-Bee S.r.l. division of R1 Group, at the Rome office.
The selected resource will be responsible for leading the team in cybersecurity incident management, security analysis, risk assessment, and disaster recovery, taking an agnostic approach to XDR and MDR vendors. The role involves a strong technical component and offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, with the possibility of expanding your team in the medium to long term.
Main responsibilities
- Define control metrics for the team and ensure effective management of cybersecurity incidents.
- Support cybersecurity projects by identifying and implementing improvement solutions.
- Manage relationships with third parties, defining security requirements and planning audits.
- Provide leadership for the team, monitoring the achievement of company goals.
- Prioritize activities and projects, balancing resources and optimizing workloads.
- Promoting the professional growth of the team through training and coaching.
- Coordinate the Networking and Security Engineer team deployed on Perugia (about 5 resources).
Skills and requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in cyber security, gained in complex IT environments.
- Leadership skills, with ability to lead technical teams and prioritize projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related disciplines (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Security).
- Knowledge of key industry frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations in cybersecurity and risk management.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferential requirements
- Certifications in cybersecurity (CPEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+ or similar).
- Certifications in IT Governance (Lead Auditor ISO27001, Lead Auditor ISO22301 or similar).
- Prior experience in consulting or similar field.
Economic bid
- Contract for an indefinite period of time with classification commensurate with experience.
- Competitive salary, assessed according to candidate’s seniority.
